Guys & Dolls

at Frinton summer theatre

role -
costume supervisor

Date -
august 2025 – september 2025

I was the costume supervisor for fronton summer theatre’s grand finale, guys & dolls. This role required me to be highly organised and comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities. My responsibilities included costume sourcing and buying, fittings, alterations, pre-setting costumes, dressing, costume maintenance and emergency repairs. For Guys and Dolls, I also designed, sourced and constructed five gowns for the ‘Take Back Your Mink’ number, following the designer’s vision.

“TAKE BACK YOUR MINk”

designs BY ME, IN COLLABORATION WITH COSTUME DESIGNER Neil Armstrong, FOLLOWING HIS VISION. I made 5 of these costumes for actors of different sizes and heights. the skirts had to be ripped off during the number, whilst leaving the bow belt remaining.
